Senior Electrical Engineer for Industrial Facilities
The senior electrical engineer will oversee design of electrical projects for large facilities and campuses. Responsibilities will include engineering design, project management and direct supervision of multiple employees.
Typical projects could include any of the following components:
- Comprehensive design of facility or inter-facility power for low-voltage (up to 600V) and medium-voltage (up to 38kV) systems
- Facility power system analysis (including load-flow, coordination and fault studies)
- Design of backup, emergency and uninterruptible power systems
- DC power system design
- Motor control system design
- Interior and exterior lighting design (including emergency and security lighting)
- Design of lightning protection and grounding systems
- Design of fire detection and alarm systems
- Design of facility communications systems
- Controls and instrumentation design (including Programmable Logic Controllers for industrial processes)
Clients might fall under any of the following market categories: general industry, military, higher education, manufacturing, hospitality/tourism and commercial.

Requirements:
- A valid PE license ( if current license is from a state other than Florida, candidate must be eligible to obtain a Florida PE)
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree).
- At least 10 years design experience for electrical power, lighting and motor control systems in large industrial facilities.
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is strongly preferred.
- Some project management experience preferred.
- Some personnel management experience preferred.
- Some travel required.
