FW&A to provide engineering design services for University Blvd.

Jacksonville, FL – Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 2 has selected Fred Wilson & Associates, Inc. (FW&A) to provide engineering design services for milling and resurfacing SR 109/University Blvd. from the west side of the I-95 interchange to the north side of the SR 212/Beach Blvd. intersection in Duval County. Work on the contract began this month.

Jacksonville, FL – William E. JEA Selects FW&A for electric engineering services contract

Jacksonville, FL – Fred Wilson & Associates, Inc. (FW&A) has been selected to provide Engineering Services for Electric Transmission and Substation Projects under a three-year, $1.75 million contract beginning in February 2011.  FW&A has served JEA through continuing service contracts since 2000, performing numerous substation, transmission, relaying and distribution engineering projects.

Fred Wilson & Associates, Inc. to Provide Electrical Engineering Services for Green Cove Springs

Jacksonville, FL – The City of Green Cove Springs has selected Fred Wilson & Associates, Inc. to provide electrical engineering services under an annual continuing contract, renewable for up to four additional one-year periods. Electrical engineering design services could include: 1) overhead and underground distribution infrastructure expansion; 2) enhanced substation design improvements; 3) voltage conversions; 4) SCADA system technology implementation; 5) enterprise-wide systems integration; 6) SCADA-Mate switching applications; or 7) RTU and relay communications.

Fred Wilson & Associates, Inc. to Provide Engineering Services for FPUC

Jacksonville, FL – Florida Public Utilities Company has asked Fred Wilson & Associates, Inc. (FW&A) to provide engineering services for its Northeast and Northwest offices. FW&A will perform electrical system studies for FPUC's two separate electrical divisions in Fernandina Beach, Fla., (serving Amelia Island) and in Marianna, Fla., serving parts of Jackson, Calhoun, and Liberty Counties. FPUC purchases power from JEA for the Northeast division and from Gulf Power for the Northwest division.

JEA Selects FW&A for Significant 230-kV Transmission System Addition

JEA, the largest municipal electric utility in Florida, confirmed their long-term confidence in Fred Wilson & Associates by selecting us, through a qualifications process, to design a new 230-kV transmission circuit from the FP&L Duval Substation to the JEA Jax Heights Substation.
